Mark Bierbaum started drawing and painting at a young age.

Upon obtaining a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Colorado University, Mark went to study art at California Institute of the Art’s Character Animation department. After a year at Cal. Arts he was employed by Disney TV Animation to develope and learn storyboarding. During this period, Mark developed his interest in illustration. After Disney, Mark returned to Art school to further his studies at Art Center College of Design in Pasadena California.   The "classical" tradition of drawing, painting and design were emphasized at the prestigious Art Center.

Beyond his professional beginning as a storyboard artist, Mark has done numerous drawings, paintings and designs for Disney, among other companies. Some of his clients include: Disney and Warner Brothers TV Animation, Disney Wilderness Lodge, Disney Ambassador of Japan, Quizno’s Subs and Salads, The Grand Californian, The Dolphin of Florida, The Broadmoor of Colorado, OWR One World Resource. Mark has also taught Animal Drawing at the Loveland Academy.
